Kinda bouncing around with this post. First part takes place before what was the prologue and part two after the point I stopped off at on the draft.

Bobbi is pissed and Mikel's Torchwood file gets a little thicker.

“So- any idea what Fury wants?” Bobbi Morse-Coulson asked as she retied her hair back. The workout they had been working through when the call from on high had come down to get her butt up to the Director’s office had worked a few strands loose. It had been a pretty even fight- the best thing about a workout with Natasha was that she didn’t have to pull her punches and Natasha could give back as good as she got.

Clint stood with Natasha near the back of the crowd that stood waiting for the steamer to dock and unload. He still wasn’t sure who it was they were here to meet; Natasha continued to be tight-lipped on that subject. She had also made it quite clear that he was to be on his best behavior or there would be hell to pay. Considering what he knew of Natasha’s skills, that was not an idle threat.

Wrote this yesterday and today to help me figure out a few things about my NaNo (and ended up figuring out some things I hadn't thought about too.) Not really meant to stand alone but it got me rolling. Set in my A Touch of Smith and Jones ficverse (so classic Fury, not movieverse Fury). Big thanks to actualjo and sharorama for letting me borrow the 'Loki and Bruce stuck in the past' rp and erebusodora for letting me borrow a few ideas from her 'Dracula Happens' synopsis for this year's NaNo.
